For two decades General Hydraulics has been the sole hydraulic company supporting a number of the largest operators of UDR-KL drill rigs in Australia. Our knowledge of these rigs is second to none to the point we have also performed approved warranty repairs for the manufacture and safety upgrades.

The service we provide is not just to the hydraulic system, we also carry out full overhauls of rotation heads having all the special tooling required. Be it the Type C, 650, D15, 1600 or 2000, we have rebuilt them all and through our experience have found modifications to improve the reliability and life.

General Hydraulics experience also extends to rod spinners, gear boxes and water pump repairs. Our machining and fabrication abilities have included the manufacture and repair of winches, mud mixers, trash pumps and transfer pumps.

General Hydraulics has had a long involvement with the UDR product; if it is hydraulic we can supply it. We carry a wide range of valves configured to bolt strait on and have extensive cross reference listings of just about anything you will need be it Bosch Rexroth, Denison, Parker, VOAC, Danfoss, SAI, Calzoni, Oil Controls, Hydraulic Controls, Sun, etc.

After extensive research and experience we have identified alternative parts that are available as replacements when then the original is not available or obsolete. Only after operational and safety considerations are taken into account are alternative components and parts supplied.

As a service to our clients we now carry in stock those hydraulic components and parts that in our experience are high usage or often difficult to obtain, this includes preassembled rig valve banks, pumps and motors preset to UDR circuit specifications.
