In 1988 General Hydraulics aligned itself with the mineral exploration drilling industry.

Reverse circulation drilling was then going through a steep development curve, with more air, bigger pipe and deeper holes. There was a need for more powerful and sophisticated hydraulic systems. GENERAL HYDRAULICS was there and heavily involved with such names as Schramm, Rotamec, and RCD as well as retrofits to many other rigs including the large Driltechs.

We have continued this involvement with RC drilling and offer a comprehensive service for RC drill rigs including Schramm, Rotamec, RCD and Driltech.
